With over 20 years experience Nadine has represented a diverse clientele including individuals in Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and individuals and companies needing to liquidate and obtain relief from debt by filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and restructure under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Nadine also zealously represents creditors in adversary proceedings pursuing non-discharge actions and preferential or fraudulent transfers in bankruptcy. Representative of Ms. White-Boyd’s clients are small and medium companies including septic company, advertising company, veterinary practice, restaurants, real estate holding companies and major league football player.
Nadine also represents clients in litigation involving breach of real estate contracts, landlord and tenant matters, foreclosure defense, homeowners’ association disputes and contractors’ breaches of contracts. She also represents both sellers and buyers of commercial and residential real estate
Prior to her current position, Ms. White-Boyd gained extensive experience representing creditors while with a nationwide law firm. As the firm’s primary counsel for its large lender and servicing company client, Nadine offered legal guidance and negotiated borrower disputes on behalf of the client’s bankruptcy and workout departments. Nadine also created debt collection and negotiation training tools for the client’s collectors as well as trained the client’s staff on fair debt collection practices.
Ms. White-Boyd earned her juris doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law where she was an advocate and founding member of Hofstra’s chapter of the Unemployment Action Center, representing the unemployed before the Department of Labor, a member of Black Law Students Association, and of Phi Alpha Delta. Nadine received her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. At Cornell she was a member of Quill and Dagger Society, Cornell University Programming Board, Black Students United and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Nadine is admitted to practice in Florida and New York, U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Nadine is also an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Department at Palm Beach State College and regularly presents continuing legal education seminars. She has presented Bankruptcy 101, Paralegal Guide to Bankruptcy, Practicing with Professionalism, and Consumer Bankruptcy From Start to Finish to both paralegals and attorneys.
Nadine is a member of the Florida Bar, Real Estate and Business Law sections; Palm Beach County Bar Association - Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and the Professionalism Committee and served as chair of the professionalism enhancement subcommittee; F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association (President); Craig Barnard IV Inns of Court; Caribbean American For Community Involvement in Florida, Inc. where she served on the Board for 4 years, chaired several committees and is the 2015 recipient of the Citizen of the Year Award; Women of Tomorrow mentor and Cornell University Alumni mentor.
